Jan Bates

Years of experience have taught me how to process and deliver your direct mail efficiently and cost effectively.

Jan Bates has been around and involved in the print industry since 1978. Starting out as a darkroom operator at Printing Incorporated back when film and camera work was done by hand, she has accumulated over 20 years of experience in the offset and web printing industry in customer service and management. She also worked at International Paper learning and teaching about fine paper use to enhance print products.

Around 1997 Jan changed directions and began her career in the mail industry. For 12 years she worked at Mail Comm, Inc. learning and perfecting the art of bulk mailing. She has taught classes for LSU students, workshops, and training for print shops and design firms on the ins and outs of preparing, printing, and doing direct mail efficiently and effectively.

In 2009 Mail Comm, Inc. closed so Jan picked up the banner and continued to serve their clients. She has been doing so ever since.
